It’s not often a songwriter can incorporate modern elements of life into a more classic country sound but somehow Lexi Lauren has done just that with her newest release “Don’t Text”. The 14 year old songstress from Franklin, TN gives us a new take on what girls struggle with in relationships these days with her sweet and simple reminder that sometimes we just want to hear the sound of a real voice.
“Don’t Text” was mixed by 3x Grammy winner Dave Clauss, who mixed a majority of Maren Morris’ record. Some of his other credits include Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Shakira, Justin Bieber, U2, Lauren Alaina, and many more. Following the success of this release, I’m sure we’ll be hearing a lot more from Lexi soon!
