2009 CMA Award Complete Nomination List

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION has announced the final nominees in five categories for the 43rd ANNUAL CMA AWARDS. Country star DARIUS RUCKER and LEE ANN WOMACK revealed the nominees in several categories during a live broadcast from NEW YORK CITY’S TIMES SQUARE on GOOD MORNING AMERICA this morning (9/9). The remaining nominees were announced by RANDY HOUSER and CMT personalities CODY ALAN and ALECIA DAVIS during a special edition of CMT INSIDER.

BRAD PAISLEY leads the way with six nominations including the coveted ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR. GEORGE STRAIT, TAYLOR SWIFT, ZAC BROWN, JAMEY JOHNSON and KEITH URBAN each walk away with four nominations. New names can be found among the nominees for ENTERTAINER, MALE VOCALIST, GROUP, DUO and ALBUM OF THE YEAR.

The 43rd ANNUAL CMA AWARDS will broadcast live on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11th at 8p (ET) from MUSIC CITY on ABC-TV.
