2011 American Country Awards Nominations, Dates, Voting Details and More!

The 2nd Annual American Country Awards Nominations have been announced, and fan voting is open! The ACAs offer a wide variety of categories like those offered by the CMA Awards and the CMT Awards, but with other previously unrecognized categories like “Touring”. Voting will remain open until Friday, November 11th in all categories except Artist of the Year. Voting for the Artist of the Year category will remain open until, Friday, December 2nd, two before the live show airs. Fans are able to vote in each category once daily until the deadline. For a complete list of all the nominations and categories, see below.

Thw 2011 ACAs will feature Kristen Chenoweth and Trace Adkins as hosts, and will air live on Monday, December 5th at 8pm ET on Fox. It will be a two-hour live awards special aired out of Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and it will feature performances and appearances from all of the current year’s chart topping artists! Most often, when I see Kellie Pickler, she is being low key, silly and a whole lot of fun. She is obviously a laid back kind of gal with a really great sense of humor.
