Pride Announced As a Performer During “The 50th Annual CMA Awards” Airing Wednesday, Nov. 2 on the ABC Television Network NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 24, 2016) – Country music icon Charley Pride opens up about his trailblazing career in the “Heart to Heart” section of Closer Weekly, on newsstands now. The three-page spread gives fans an unprecedented look at rarely seen photos of the multi-platinum selling superstar’s illustrious career. Pride also reflects on topics about his humble beginnings in rural Mississippi, being a father, and what inspired him to pursue music. The three-time CMA winner has experienced a resurgence in 2016 on the anniversary of his 50th year as a country music recording artist, while just being announced as a performer at “The 50th Annual CMA Awards” airing Wednesday, Nov. 2 on ABC Television Network.
