David Nail announced to fans’ delight that he will be releasing a brand new EP titled Bootheel 2021 on Friday, November 5. The project is a continuation of his previously released Bootheel 2020 that came out in December of last year. This new collection of songs showcases his love and admiration for his hometown and family as you can hear special contributions from twins — daughter, Lilli Cate, and son, Lawson — in the prelude and postlude. The word “bootheel” holds a ton of meaning to David as it is often used to describe the region of Missouri that he grew up in and so fondly writes and sings about. Pre-save Bootheel 2021 here.

It will include Nail’s cover of Adele’s popular hit, “Someone Like You” in addition to “The Sound of A Million Dreams” and “Half Mile Hill” from Nail’s recent album release, The Sound of A Million Dreams. “It’s hard to believe the life that ‘Someone Like You’ has taken on. David Nail Puts His Touch On Adele’s Hit “Someone Like You.” If you don’t know who Adele is you might have been living under a rock for the past year or so. Don’t worry, we don’t blame you for not knowing who the Grammy winning singer/songwriter is because she isn’t country. But, luckily for all of you, some of country music’s biggest stars are introducing her music to you! Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and David Nail have all covered her music recently and done it quite well! In the video below Nail does a beautiful rendition of the already beautiful and emotional song “Someone Like You.” He sounds amazing and does country music proud! David Nail Sings At The Final Game of the World Series David Nail had the honor, Friday October 28th, to sing “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning in the final game of the World Series. David Nail Plans To Release His Sophomore Album, The Sound Of A Million Dreams, November 15! David Nail is set to release his sophomore album, The Sound Of A Million Dreams, November 15. This is the follow up to his successful first album, I’m About To Come Alive. His first album gave him the honors of a Grammy nomination for “Turning Home” and an ACM award nomination for “Red Light.” The Sound Of A Million Dreams was produced by Chuck Ainlay and Frank Liddell and includes his current single, “Let It Rain.” Nail will join Taylor Swift starting October 14 on tour and will open for a few select shows, including San Diego, Phoenix and Austin. Be sure to catch David on the October 30 episode of Day Jobs on GAC where he goes back to his roots and spends a day working at a Missouri Dairy Queen!
David Nail Performs At George’s Majestic Lounge In Fayetteville, Ar. David Nail visited the Natural State this past Friday, September 16, where he headlined at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville. The night started out and ended with Robert Ellis as they played before and after Nail on the front stage. The crowd was very enthusiastic and anxious for Nail to take the main stage and they showed their gratitude when he did so. I’m not sure if it was the energy from the crowd or just his normal routine, but the singer and his band played a powerful show with a solid sound. He performed fan favorites including “Red Light” and “Let It Rain”, which is currently sitting in the Top 20. After being pulled back on stage for an encore, he played his hit “Turning Home.” This week Nail will keep his momentum going when he hits Jonesboro, El Paso, Albuquerque, and Amarillo all before Saturday! If you are near any those areas, I suggest you try and catch a show! With a voice like his, I am very interested to see what comes of his in the process, sophomore album! As the anticipation kills me, I guess I’ll have to wait patiently with the rest of the world. David Nail to Give Fan Appreciation Party During CMA Music Fest. David Nail will be kick starting CMA Music Fest week by hosting a fan appreciation party in Nashville, TN on June 8th. The party will take place at The Tin Roof at 3pm, and will be free and open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. David has invited along some special guests including songwriters Jonathan Singleton (“Let It Rain” “Red Light”), Lee Miller (“This Time Around”) and Scooter Carusoe (“Turning Home” “Again”). This party give fans chance to meet David one-on-one and additionally they will have the opportunity to ask David a few questions in a Q&A session during the party.
David Nail Returns Home to Missouri to Support Relief Efforts. David Nail will be making a trip back home to Missouri to host the David Nail Flood Relief Benefit Concert in hopes of raising funds for the residents impacted by the recent floods. The concert will be held Friday, May 27 at 7pm at the Sikeston Highschool Field House in Sikestone, MO. “I think it’s human nature to want to help out anytime you see those struck by the devastation that the recent weather has caused in parts of the southeast and Midwest. Being from southeast Missouri, obviously their struggles have hit me the hardest.
