“This One’s For Him: A Tribute To Guy Clark” Is Being Considered For Americana Album of the Year! This One’s For Him: A Tribute to Guy Clark has remained in the Top 5 on the Americana Music Chart since January 17. This album has the chance to be nominated for the Americana Album of the Year! Active Americana members are urged to participate in the nomination process which ends Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m. To vote, email your nominations to awards@americanamusic.org. The tribute includes 30 tracks by 33 Americana artists who are friends and colleagues of Clark or who have been influenced by his remarkable compositions. Guy Clark Releases New Album

Guy Clark Releases Another Masterpiece, “Songs and Stories”! Guy Clark is a living legend and at the age of 69 he is releasing yet another album. “Songs And Stories” was recorded at the Belcourt Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. It is something you don’t see very much, a “story” being a track on an album, but if anyone can pull it off Clark can. The setting was very laid back and intimate, and felt more like he was sitting around a kitchen table at 3 am with some friends. This live album is jam-packed with his previous hits and the kind of stories that you’ve always wanted to hear from a wise man like Clark.
