Kelsea Ballerini To Return As Host For 2024 CMT Music Awards
Grammy-nominated country star Kelsea Ballerini will once again return as host for this year’s CMT Music Awards, marking her fourth consecutive year leading the fan-voted event. Ballerini fronted the CMT Music Awards alongside Kane Brown in both 2021 and 2023, and hosted the show remotely in 2022.
Kelsea Ballerini Closes the Chapter on her Divorce
Kelsea Ballerini is set to perform her song “Leave Me Again” on the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 8), and while the song already holds one of the final spots on her Rolling Up the Welcome Mat project, the singer says singing it live feels like the perfect way to close this chapter of music.

When multiple GRAMMY-nominee Kelsea Ballerini wrote and recorded Rolling Up The Welcome Mat with her friend and long-time collaborator Alysa Vanderheym, it was more to sort out the complicated emotions around a marriage ending than a project intended for commercial release. Kelsea Ballerini to Make SNL Debut
Multiple GRAMMY nominee, Country Music Association award winner, author and songwriter/vocalist Kelsea Ballerini is slated to make her Saturday Night Live debut as musical guest on March 4th alongside host Travis Kelce. The announcement comes on the heels of a career-defining week for Ballerini who is fresh off the surprise release of her intimate six-song EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat (Black River) on February 14th. The EP, along with an accompanying short film written and directed by Ballerini, marks the multi-platinum star’s most intimate and honest work to date. The special will air SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31st, from 8 to 10p (ET/PT), and continue from 10:30p to 1:30a (ET/PT) on the CBS TELEVISION NETWORK.
