Lauren Alaina Ends Year of Success In Vegas! We’ve said it several times, and we will probably say it again. Lauren Alaina has had one heck of a year! From American Idol to debuting her first album, Wildflower, to singing at the Whitehouse, this young woman’s career is off to a great start. So, how does one end such a year full of success? Well, if you’re Lauren you spend it at the American Country New Year’s Live in Las Vegas! The special New Year’s Eve bash will air on Saturday, December 31st from 11pm-12:30am on Fox. Alaina will performing, so if you don’t have plans already, make sure you tune in! After the New Year, you can find Lauren on tour with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan on Aldean’s “My Kinda Party” Arena Tour kicking off in January 2012.

Lauren Alaina Featured Performance and Interview Featured on AOL Music Sessions. Last week, Lauren Alaina announced that she will have the opportunity to tour with Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan on Aldean’s 2012 My Kinda Party tour. That’s just one in a long line of recent successes for Alaina. She debuted her first album, Wildflower, this fall, recently was among a select group of country artists to perform for President Obama, and now a tour announcement for 2012! This is a huge leap for a girl America had not even heard of less than a year ago! Lauren Alaina Has Been Invited To Join Jason Aldean And Luke Bryan On The 2012 My Kinda Party Arena Tour! Lauren Alaina has been offered a spot on her very first official country tour with fellow Georgia natives Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan. Aldean’s 2012 “My Kinda Party” Arena Tour will start January 20 in Greenville, SC and ends March 24 in East Rutherford, NJ. “I am so excited to be a part of the Jason Aldean tour with Luke Bryan! I am a huge fan of both of them. I mean – if I wasn’t part of the line up, I would want to be in the front row! I am honored that my first major country tour will allow me to share the stage with two fellow Georgia artists. That is definitely my kind of party!” -Alaina The 17-year-old will be supporting her debut album Wildflower and current single “Georgia Peaches” which is in the Top 40 on the country singles chart and rising!

Lauren Alaina Performs Classic Country At Special Country Music: In Performance at the White House. Lauren Alaina has been on the country scene for less than a year and has already made huge strides as a performer. Granted, as Season 10 runner-up, she is heavily backed by the media giants behind American Idol, but it is impossible to deny that she has a wealth of talent. Another stand-out trait the 16-year old possesses is a surprising amount of grace and poise. Despite the fact that she’s a teenager, Lauren behaves like a pro at every performance or appearance. This was certainly put to the test at her recent gig on the PBS special, Country Music: In Performance at the White House, and she passed with flying colors. Not only was she performing for the President of the United States, a huge honor in and of itself, but she also held her own with some of country music’s masters, Lyle Lovett and James Taylor, and contemporary favorites, Dierks Bentley and Darius Rucker. Alaina performed a duo with Dierks Bentley of the classic “Always On My Mind” and did a solo version of Loretta Lynn‘s famous “Coal Miner’s Daughter“. You can catch videos of both performances below. With the release of her debut solo album, Wildflower, just months after her successful season on American Idol, along with with several high profile appearances and performances, it is clear that Lauren Alaina is going places and has the work ethic to get there. Lauren Alaina Lights Up Graceland! Lauren Alaina will help Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis kick off the holiday season by “flipping the switch” for the annual lighting celebration on Friday November, 18. The kickoff to Graceland’s holiday celebration will be broadcast live on Elvis.com at 6PM, CST. The extensive display will include hundreds of blue lights along the driveway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh and much more originally displayed at Graceland by Elvis and the Presley family. Alaina has seen tons of success this past year. She was the runner-up on American Idol, she released her debut album Wildflower and is the best-selling country female debut since 1996! Her current single “Georgia Peaches” is also climbing the charts at this very moment. It makes you wonder what you get the girl who has everything for Christmas?!

Lauren Alaina Releases Debut Album and Choose Second Single! Lauren Alaina‘s album, Wildflower releases Tuesday, October 11th! This is the American Idol runner-up’s much anticipated first album, and the creation of it seems to have been a great experience for Lauren. “Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of releasing my own album. I can’t believe the day is here! I am excited to share it with the fans who have been supporting me throughout my journey. I hope they enjoy listening to this record as much as I did making it.” -Lauren Alaina The album features Alaina’s debut single, “Like My Mother Does” as it’s title track as well as the second single she has chosen to release, “Georgia Peaches“. The second single will impact radio on October 24th. As a Georgia native, this song has special meaning for Lauren. It seems Lauren is apt to choose music she can connect to directly since her first single illustrated her relationship with and respect for her mother, and this second one relates to her roots. This shows promise for such a young talent, in that she has already proven herself capable of choosing music that represents her as an individual instead of a marketing gimmick. Alaina will be getting the word out about her release with several appearances and performances which are listed below. Lauren Alaina Reveals the Cover Art for Debut Album. Lauren Alaina‘s debut album, Wildflower, will be out October 11th, but in the meantime Lauren wanted to go ahead and share the cover art of her first ever album with all her fans! It’s lovely first album cover, and I think it really captures Alaina’s freshness and youth! Lauren also wanted to give a little shout out to her all of her fans! See below! Hey everybody! I am so excited to be able to reveal the cover of my new album, Wildflower, which will be released on Oct. 11th. I can’t wait for you to hear the album, which has 12 songs, including one that I co-wrote. All of the songs are very different, so there’s something on Wildflower for everybody. Each song tells a story that I really related to, and my hope is that the songs will touch your heart as well. We’ll be releasing more details about the album soon. Lauren has really hit the ground running since winning American Idol runner-up for Season 10. Yet, she has been so gracious and remained so humble, despite her quick rise to fame as one of America’s new country darlings, that it is easy to forget just how new she is to this whole experience. New Details On Lauren Alaina’s Upcoming Album Release! We’ve had our eye on Lauren Alaina since her runner-up win on Season 10 of American Idol this Spring, and she has been accomplishing quite a bit! From her performances at the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Fest in Nashville in June to touring with American Idol Live to appearances on the CMT Music Awards and CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, America clearly can not get enough of this girl! Believe it or not among all this activity, Lauren has released a debut music video, and has given a little more detail on her upcoming album! The album is titled Wildflower and will be released Tuesday, October 11th. Lauren looked for songs that would provide a spectrum of pace from slow to fast for her debut album in hopes that it would have a little something for everyone! “I feel like it has a flavor for everybody. It’s a mixture of all different songs, so I hope it will appeal to all different kinds of people. There are fast songs for people who like up-tempos that you can dance to, and there are also tearjerkers for people who like slower ballads. I tried to get songs that are all a little different so that we could bring a fresh feel to each and every song.” -Lauren Alaina One thing that can be said for Lauren is that despite the onslaught of publicity, attention, and a whole horde of fans, she is still staying rather level headed and remains gracious to those who helped put her in her current position. Lauren Alaina Premiers First Video On August 8! Lauren Alaina has been a very busy girl! After winning the runner-up spot on American Idol in the Spring she immediately jumped into a whole host of guest appearances and performances from the CMA Music Festival to the CMT Music Awards. On top of all that, she has most recently been on tour with American Idol Live, along with other American Idol alums from the past season. Somehow, in the midst of all this activity, the young Lauren has managed to film a music video for her debut single, “Like My Mother Does” which originally premiered on American Idol and has received a substantial amount of positive responses from fans and the industry alike. Like the title of the single suggests, the video plays homage to Alaina’s mother and Alaina’s childhood. See Lauren in “Like My Mother Does” now! CMT will be putting the spotlight on Lauren featuring her on CMT Premieres: Lauren Alaina – Like My Mother Does.
