Check Out The Video for Sugarland’s “Run”. I don’t know if you had a chance to catch the live performance of Sugarland‘s “Run” featuring Matt Nathanson at last year’s CMA Awards…but if you didn’t, you missed out. It was one of the best performances of the night. Well, it was one of my favorites at least! There is just something about the lyrics in this song and the way Jennifer Nettles and Nathanson perform this duet together that is absolutely irresistible! In case you did miss the CMA performance, or you haven’t had the opportunity to catch Sugarland live, they have released the video for “Run” for fans to enjoy! It features live concert footage which I think helps emphasize the rawness of the song. Watch it below, and let us know what you think! Sugarland’s “Run” featuring Matt Nathanson.
Jennifer Nettles Voice Makes Special Appearance In PepsiMax Superbowl Ad. Among the many exciting and entertaining aspects of Sunday night’s Superbowl media extravaganza, there is one that might have passed you by unnoticed. Jennifer Nettles‘ voice actually makes a cameo appearance in the commercial for PepsiCo‘s low-cal beverage Pepsi Max. Her croonings can be heard over the loud speaker of an average supermarket while an average looking guy chooses his beverage of choice…yeah, PepsiMax. It’s a low-key non-visual appearance, but it’s amusing all the same. Did you notice Nettles’ voice? Check Out Jennifer Nettles Vocal Cameo Here!
Sugarland Performs Acoustic Version of Every Girl Like Me In London Taxi. Sugarland is definitely not your average country duo, and its always fun to see what hijinks these two are getting up two. They have recently released a video of an acoustic version of “Every Girl Like Me” that, here’s the fun part, they taped while riding around in a London taxi cab last February. It’s definitely an interesting idea, and way cheaper than what an average music video would cost, so maybe these two are onto something! Check out the video, and let us know what you think. A severe storm brings down the stage at the Indiana State Fairgrounds just moments before Sugarland was set to perform, killing a reported 5 victims and injuring dozens more. Our hearts go out to the family and friends of those lost loved ones during last night’s horrific stage collapse at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It is reported that five were killed and at least 40 injured as severe weather caused the stage rigging to become unstable and fall to the ground with very little warning. Sugarland has predictably cancelled tonight’s performance, and there is no word yet on rescheduling the concert as all parties involved are in deep sorrow over last nights events.

Sugarland Set to Perform Popular “Stand Up” At the 2011 CMT Music Awards Tonight. Sugarland is among the long list of performances country fans have to look forward at this evening’s CMT Music Awards. They will be performing their popular song “Stand Up” which they recently transformed into “Stand Up for Tornado Relief” creating a special video in an effort to raise awareness and funds for victims suffering from the devastation of the damage created by this Spring’s rash of tornadoes. Every night of their current Incredible Machine tour, the duo creates and flies a “LOVE” flag at the beginning of the encore while playing the song. This was an integral symbol in their move to show their support for tornado relief efforts and in encouraging their fans to show their support as well. Sugarland will be including this important symbol in their CMT Music Awards performance this evening. In a special video clip, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush discuss the meaning behind the flag. You can check it out here. Be sure to tune in tonight on CMT or cmt.com at 8pm CT/PT to check out Sugarland’s performance!
