The COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM (CMHOF) has revealed details of its TIM MCGRAW and FAITH HILL exhibition entitled “TIM MCGRAW & FAITH HILL: MISSISSIPPI WOMAN, LOUISIANA MAN.” Opening this FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17th, the exhibit will chronicle the parallel singing careers that started in adjacent SOUTHERN states and merged — as spouses and performing partners — in NASHVILLE. “TIM MCGRAW & FAITH HILL: MISSISSIPPI WOMAN, LOUISIANA MAN” will incorporate a wide array of memorabilia representing milestones and significant moments in the couple’s lives both separately and together. “We are honored to be included in the halls of this historic museum, among the names and faces of so many of our friends and music heroes,” said MCGRAW and HILL. “This is a moment that dreams are made of, and we are so appreciative to the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM for all the hard work and care that has gone into the exhibit.”

TIM MCGRAW RELEASES NEW SINGLE AND VIDEO “HUMBLE AND KIND” FROM CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED ALBUM DAMN COUNTRY MUSIC Launches StayHumbleandKind.com #stayhumbleandkind Tim McGraw publicity photo (credit Danny Clinch):https://www.hightail.com/download/bXBZT2pDd0l6NEwwZXNUQw Continuing the success of his critically-acclaimed album Damn Country Music, three-time Grammy®-winning singer, songwriter, and actor Tim McGraw released the record’s anthemic second single, “Humble And Kind,” today. Fans will be able to catch an exclusive sneak preview tonight of the track’s music video on Entertainment Tonight. The full video will debut on McGraw’s Facebook page tomorrow at 12pm CST/1pm EST followed by a live chat with McGraw at 8pm CST/9pm EST. “I felt like it was going to be a special song when we finished it. Then when we mixed it, it just really came alive,” McGraw says of the song. “It’s not about being ‘my’ song or ‘my’ album or ‘my’ piece of music or any of those things. I think it’s just the message that the world needs. The song is so special, we wanted the video to really have a meaning to it and the video to be really universal and worldly and encompass everyone and what the emotion of the song is.” The “Humble And Kind” music video, directed by Wes Edwards, features scenes from Oprah Winfrey’s groundbreaking documentary “Belief,” which depicts how people with a wide range of beliefs search for deeper meaning and connection with the world around them. The song’s music video marries these universal scenes of faith and life with a dramatic McGraw performance, captured by a one-of-a-kind 360 degree turntable lighting rig which provides a big looping light highlighting the passage of time. The lyrics serve as a poignantly complementary soundtrack to the vivid, emotional storytelling and cinematic visual imagery of the series, which aired on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network last fall. Along with the single and video, McGraw will also launch stayhumbleandkind.com, a site that aggregates stories shared with the hashtag #stayhumbleandkind as well as encourages random acts of kindness through a simple tracking program. “We want to celebrate positive stories that embody the lyric and message of the song – from the most simple to the extraordinary,” said McGraw. The song became an immediate standout on Damn Country Music for fans and critics alike, with TIME Magazine noting that “McGraw shines most brightly when he’s foregrounding his warm, supple voice and keeping the music that surrounds him uncluttered. Perhaps that’s why the album closes with ‘Humble and Kind,’ in which the ‘good life’ means one governed by manners and grace.” Newsday agreed, citing that “McGraw is at his best with a big, emotional ballad and he has a masterpiece to work with here… [the song] is a gorgeous bit of advice — in this case, from a father to his children, but it’s really pretty universal… McGraw delivers this advice with just the right amount of emotion, the right balance between preaching and suggestion.” Nash Country Weekly further hailed the song “the album’s most powerful and pensive reminder of Tim’s aforementioned passion is the last verse in the last song… where he sings ‘When you get where you’re goin’, don’t forget turn back around / Continue reading

The Official Music Video For Tim McGraw’s “Highway Don’t Care” Featuring Taylor Swift & Keith Urban. Below is the official music video for Tim McGraw’s current single, “Highway Don’t Care.” The song features Taylor Swift’s vocals and Keith Urban’s guitar skills. The song is catchy and is constantly getting stuck in my head, but the video is just confusing. I am unclear on what McGraw’s actual part in the mini-movie is…he is a doctor, but does he have any connection to the female? I’m not sure! I do however love the fact that the female character drives a Chevy Cavalier! My first vehicle was a white Cavalier, Rally Sport to be exact. Watching the female drive it brings back memories. Like I had mentioned in the video for Lady A’s “Goodbye Town,” the timing seems off. It is another gloomy video with no leaves on the trees. People can wreck in the Spring…just saying. Anyhow, you guys watch the video for “Highway Don’t Care” below and tell us what you think!
Tim McGraw’s Latest New Album Two Lanes of Freedom Available Now. Tim McGraw‘s highly anticipated new album, Two Lanes of Freedom, finally released today (Tuesday, February 5th). The new record features eleven tracks (the deluxe version offers up four additional songs), and it seems to offer up to slightly different versions of McGraw. On one side, there is the party anthem belting (hate to say it) trying to stay young Tim with songs like “Truck Yeah.” On the other hand, there are more traditional sounding, heart string strumming tunes like “Nashville Without You,” “Annie I Owe You a Dance,” “Tinted Windows,” and “Number 37405.” On yet another hand all together, there is the Tim that is continuing to push the boundaries of “country” with pop infused upbeat tunes, like “Southern Girl” (complete with a little autotune thrown in…), “Mexicoma,” and “It’s Your World,” that could easily crossover to Top 40 stations like The Band Perry, Lady Antebellum, and (of course) Taylor Swift have done in recent years. Speaking of Tswift, there is the collaboration with her and Keith Urban, “Highway Don’t Care,” that is sure to appeal to just about everyone. Its a pretty good song, and their three voices really meld together well. Essentially, with Two Lanes of Freedom, Tim McGraw gives a healthy selection of tracks to music fans across the country, right on over to pop, spectrum. For his first album release on Big Machine, following the Curb Records debacle, I think this is setting the right tone for McGraw. He still has a lot left to offer fans, and he isn’t afraid to keep pushing boundaries. I really feel like he’s trying to say, ‘I’m not done yet,’ and from what I’ve heard on this record, I’m okay with that. Find the deluxe version here, and the regular version here via iTunes. Next up, Tim heads out on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour with Brantley Gilbert and Love and Theft. Two Lanes of Freedom Complete Track Listing. 1. Two Lanes of Freedom 2. One of Those Nights 3.
