Kelsea Ballerini and Anthony Mackie to host “2022 CMT MUSIC AWARDS” on Monday, April 11th on CBS Country music’s only entirely fan-voted awards show to air LIVE from Nashville; 2022 Nominations to be revealed Wednesday, March 16th “CMT MUSIC AWARDS EXTENDED CUT” to air Friday, April 15th on CMT with all-new performances and bonus content.

CMT has announced its executive team for the 2022 “CMT Music Awards,” set to air on SUNDAY, APRIL 3rd, 2022 at 7p (CT) on CBS and PARAMOUNT+. CMT’s MARGARET COMEAUX, SWITCHED ON ENTERTAINMENT’s JOHN HAMLIN and CMT’s LESLIE FRAM will serve as the executive producers. This marks COMEAUX and HAMLIN’s 14th and FRAM’s 10th year leading the show, which is moving from CMT to CBS for the first time next year.
In such an unprecedented year there is a certain amount of relief when at least one thing can feel a bit “Normal” and for us, it’s covering the 2020 CMT Music Awards!
