ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp Returns to Nashville and In-Person

ACM Lifting Lives®, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music® hosted the 13th Annual ACM Lifting Lives® Music Camp with Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Monday, June 13 through Friday, June 17, with 23 campers from all around the U.S. and Canada. Music Camp is a week-long residential program for individuals with Williams syndrome, a genetic condition (see MORE section for additional information), who are passionate about music.

ACM LIFTING LIVES, the philanthropic arm of the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC, is welcoming submissions for its 2022-2023 grant cycle beginning MONDAY, MAY 16th and running through THURSDAY, JUNE 16th. The month-long application window continues ACM LIFTING LIVES’ history of supporting mental health organizations, as well as individuals struggling with those issues.

Academy Of Country Music Announces Location, Lineup For ‘Party For A Cause’

The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) will stage its annual “Party For A Cause” in NASHVILLE for the first time this year. Set for TUESDAY, AUGUST 24th at ASCEND AMPHITHEATER, the event will be hosted by SIRIUSXM’s STORME WARREN and feature performances from LEE BRICE, BRETT ELDREDGE, MICKEY GUYTON, SAM HUNT, OLD DOMINION (with special guests), TENILLE TOWNES, TRISHA YEARWOOD and more to be announced. Event proceeds benefit the ACADEMY’s philanthropic arm, ACM LIFTING LIVES.

And, just like everyone else who calls the Volunteer State home, Miranda Lambert knew that she had to do whatever possible to help with the recovery. “We knew people needed to come first, but MuttNation is here because we have to watch over the animals, too,” said the top ACM award-winning country superstar whose Foundation has been helping shelter pets since 2009.

CMA Foundation Honors 30 Music Teachers with Music Teachers of Excellence Awards

NASHVILLE—The CMA Foundation, a national music education nonprofit and the philanthropic arm of the Country Music Association, is honoring 30 music teachers from across the country as Music Teachers of Excellence. Now in its fifth year, the annual program was created in an effort to recognize those educators who are having the greatest impact on their students, using music as a vehicle for change.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — FOX’s Rent: Live Actor and singer-songwriter Brennin Hunt will host the Tennessee Tornado Relief Concert at VZD’s in Oklahoma City Wednesday, March 11.  Seven artists will perform in an intimate Nashville style writer’s round concert, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Restore the Dream Fund, a fund supported by the efforts of United Way of Greater Nashville.
