Kid Rock and Angaleena Presley Care

New Video for Care from Kid Rock and Angaleena Presley Kid Rock released the video for his current single, “Care” on Wednesday, November 23rd. Thanksgiving week is definitely an appropriate debut window for the social awareness-themed video which advocates social change at the individual level with a simple thought: just care about others. It’s a touching, relevant and interesting video which will no doubt appeal to both Kid Rock fans and those who maybe wouldn’t normally give his music a listen. The single comes off of Kid Rock’s current album, Born Free, and the album track actually features Martina McBride. However, the video features Angaleena Presley of Pistol Annies, and she makes a good addition, for sure! As is a current trend in country music (especially those artists and songs that lean a little rock-ish), the track also gets a rap influence in the contributions of rapper T.I. The single and its video are attached to a 12 date charity tour Kid Rock is engaged in now. With the help of business executives from his hometown of Detroit, Rock has managed to raise over 375,000 on the Care tour which will be given to local charities. The tour began November 11th, and will conclude in Boise, Idaho on December 4th. Check Out Kid Rock’s Video for “Care” Featuring Angaleena Presley and T.I. Music City’s legendary honky-tonk will be celebrating their 51st Birthday on November 23, 2011! Knowing how Kid Rock has agreed to partner with Tootsie’s and co-brand his Ryman show as part of our Birthday Bash is just proof of what we are creating here.” -Steve Smith, Tootsie’s owner Entertainment will be on both stages of Tootsie’s, the roof-top of Rippy’s and a stage in the street on Broadway. After the Kid Rock show, Tootsie’s will continue to celebrate into the night! “Every time I end up at Tootsie’s its a good night, and I don’t expect this night to be any different. Kid Rock Hosts 2011 CMT Music Awards

Kid Rock Announced as Host for 2011 CMT Music Awards. Kid Rock will be reprising his role of host for the 2011 CMT Music Awards. Apparently, CMT thinks they’ve got a sure thing going on as Kid Rock was last year’s host as well. Word on the street has it that Kid Rock had a pretty good time himself, and will be enjoying his second turn on the CMT stage. “Hosting the CMT awards was a wonderful bridge to a great after party. I’m looking forward to crossing that bridge again this year.” -Kid Rock While he may be excited about hosting the show, fan reactions have been mixed with some truly excited, and others ready to make alternative plans for the evening. I guess we will see how the fan turn-out pans out, and whether or not the country superstar line-up for the evening, including performances by Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Kieth Urban and more, will be enough to overshadow some fans’ distaste for Kid Rock! In addition to his hosting duties, Kid Rock has also been nominated in the collaborative video of the year category for his single “Collide” with Sheryl Crow. Tickets to the 2011 CMT Music Awards go on sale this Saturday, May 21st. The show will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on CMT and cmt.com on Wednesday, June 8th.
