Thompson Square Release New Video For If I Didn’t Have You! Approrpriately, Thompson Square released the new video for their latest love centric single, “If I Didn’t Have You,” on Valentine’s Day! Like previous single releases, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” “I Got You,” and “Glass,” the real life married couple, sing what they know about…love! You know what they say, you write what you know, and it’s clear this duo has a lot of experience in the feel good department. For this video though, they went a different route, and the story that plays out, honestly, gave me chills. I’m not going to give anything away. Watch for yourself, and let me know what you think! Thompson Square is currently nominated for an 2013 ACM Award for Vocal Duo of the Year, and they are currently on the road with Luke Bryan’s 2013 Dirt Road Diaries Tour. Thompson Square New Album Just Feels Good Details

Thompson Square Announce New Album Just Feels Good Release Date and Track Listing! This weekend, country duo Thompson Square, took to multiple media outlets to make announcements about their upcoming album release, Just Feels Good! They gave fans a sneak peek of their new album cover via their appearance on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown Saturday morning, and unveiled the track listing in a Sunday morning featured in USA Today. Just Feels Good is the husband/wife duo’s sophmore album, follow up to their well received debut which featured the hugely popular “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.” The lead single from the new album, “If I Didn’t Have You,” is already performing well, and continues Kiefer and Shawna’s trend of producing romantic clearly autobiographical ballads. Keifer suggests too, that most of the songs on this album reflect their journey together as a musical duo. “There are a lot of fun, upbeat songs on this new album. It’s very diverse and kind of all over the map. The songs on the album are autobiographical and tell the story of our journey over the last few years – an incredible journey that I am still trying to wrap my head around.” -Keifer Thompson Shawna also reflects on their journey that we’ll hear in these songs, sharing that the two were blessed to come so far and work with other talented folks in the industry. “Only a few years ago we were playing to 5 people a night down on Lower Broadway in Nashville. Thompson Square To Make A Big Announcement

Thompson Square Set To Share Big News with Fans Tomorrow. Word on the street is that Thompson Square has some big news to share with country music fans! The husband wife duo have let it be known that they will unveil their big announcement tomorrow (Saturday, January 19th) during their guest spot on the CMT Hot 20 Countdown which will air at 11:30am ET/10:30 am CT. The duo is still riding high on the success of their lead single, “If I Didn’t Have You,” (already in the Top 20 on Billboard and Mediabase) from their upcoming sophmore album in addition to major award wins for new duo at the 2012 ACM Awards and CMA Awards. The two already announced earlier this year that they’re releasing a novel under the same name as the first hit single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.” They’re slated to be on tour with Luke Bryan’s 2013 Dirt Road Diaries straight through the Fall. As I just mentioned we already know they have a new album coming out soon. So, I’m wondering what in the heck is this big news going to be? My Guesses: Something to do with the new video for their current single which they shot this week! A date and details for their sophmore album release. A new single release. Thompson Square Release Novel Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not

Thomas Square Set to Release Novel, Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not? From Brad Paisley to Sara Evans to Willie Nelson, country music artists are writing books, both fact and fiction, left and right! No doubt, country fans will be pleased to hear that their 2012 CMA Duo of the Year, Thomspon Square are joining this list with the impending release of their first novel! The book takes its title from their first hit, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?“, and its a work of fiction revolving around the love story of characters David Winters and Zoe Spark. Real life married couple, Kiefer and Shawna are getting writing help from co-author Travis Thrasher. The novel will be available June 4th, 2013 via Howard Books, an Imprint of Simon & Schuster! Soooo, now all we need is for someone to pick up the rights to the novel, make it into a movie and use Thompson Square’s original single as the theme song!! Genius, right? I’d go see that movie, for sure! Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not, Plot Synopsis. Thrown together to write the music and lyrics for their high school musical, David and Zoe have always been an unlikely pair whose differences at times drive them apart but also strengthen each other. Dating on and off throughout college, their timing never seems quite right, and they eventually go their separate ways. However, their chemistry as songwriters is undeniable, and two of their songs eventually become hits. Despite this, the dream is never an easy path to follow, and David and Zoe both find themselves at rock bottom; David at the end of his musical aspirations and Zoe in the middle of a divorce. They come together as old friends and realize the dream was right in front of them the entire time; they just didn’t know it was in each other. Thompson Square’s New Single “If I Didn’t Have You” is a Huge Hit! Thompson Square released their new single “If I Didn’t Have You,” and the song is quickly becoming a fan favorite. The song marks the biggest radio debut of Keifer and Shawna Thompson‘s career, and USA Today named it their “Song of the Week”! The song is the first single off their sophomore album (title and release date TBA). Thompson Square Announces Sneak Peak of New Single “If I Didn’t Have You.” We’re excited to hear Thompson Square is working on a sophomore album (release date TBA), and now AMC Duo of the Year and CMA-nominated Keifer and Shawna Thompson are offering us an exclusive sneak peak of their first single, “If I Didn’t Have You.” You can’t download the song until October 30th, but until then you can check out Thompson Square’s website for the sneak-peak. “‘If I Didn’t Have You’ is a story about two people who rely on each other to get through the tough thing we call life. Participating in the joke with a million punch lines, this real life married couple has produced a hilarious video, “Sh*t Thompson Square Says“, to capture your attention in the run-up to the ACM Awards! I’m not going to give anything away, but let’s just say this vid clearly has a higher production value than most of the “Sh*t ___ Say” videos, and it made me laugh out loud, really. I think its fair to say we all fell head over heels with Thompson Square‘s first video for their super popular single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not“. Well, this real-life couple is giving everyone another reason to fall in love with them again! They released yet another romantic video just in time for Valentine’s Day, showcasing their single, “Glass“. YOUR Most Searched Artists of 2011! Over the past couple weeks, I have been hearing a lot of discussion about the most searched people through the obvious search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo…you get the idea. I am always surprised, well not surprised, but annoyed by who the “world” cumatively searches for the most. So, I thought, why not take a look at who country fans are searching for the most. That’s what we really care about anyway, right? So, I give you, YOUR top 3 most searched country artists of 2011! I am okay with these results, and I’m both surprised and not surprised. Take a look and let us know what you think. 1.Thompson Square This duo is a definite up and comer, and they are rising fast. Everyone is completely in love with the hit “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not?”, and it is clear you just can’t get enough! So, they are sitting here at number 1. They are an adorable couple and talented musicians, and we just love them! Clearly, you love them too! 2. Taylor Swift No surprise here! Taylor has a massive following, finished up her hugely successful Speak Now World Tour, and released several hit singles. Oh yeah, and this is just a little thing, but she did also win CMA Entertainer of the Year. So, obviously there was a lot of information you needed to find out about her this year! 3. Jason Aldean We have said it once and we will keep saying it, but 2011 was one heck of a year for Jason Aldean. He had a great summer tour, the fans love him, he was either nominated for or was winning an award left and right, and he released some amazing singles off his My Kind of Party album (my favorite is “Tattoos On This Town“). Christmas In The Black Hills

Big & Rich Host GAC Special, Christmas In The Black Hills. December in country music means plenty of Christmas celebrations. Country artists and others in the industry are just clamoring to join in on all the festivities, and GAC is offering a television special titled Christmas In The Black Hills. The show will be hosted by country duo Big & Rich, and will include performances by up and coming country artists. Among those featured will be husband and wife duo, Thompson Square known for their hit single “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not“. Most recently the two have been nominated for several awards including a CMA for vocal duo of the year, and several American Country Awards of which they walked away with three. Also featured on the show will be newcomer Andy Gibson who recently released his debut single “Wanna Make You Love Me“, and has two Christmas singles, “The Christmas Song” and “Feliz Navidad” which will be performed as part of the show. Viewers will also have a chance to check out new trio, The Farm, Bradley Gaskin and Tracy Lawrence. Christmas In The Black Hills was shot in and around The Black Hills of South Dakota and the iconic city of Deadwood. The Christmas special will air on Monday, December 12th at 8pm, Tuesday, December 13th at 12am, 10am, and 7pm , and Wednesday, December 21st at 8pm (all ET).
