Nashville, TN, August 30, ’16…Country Star Colt Ford’s brand new single, “4 Lane Gone,” makes its debut on SiriusXM’s, The Highway, today. Known for his spoken-word delivery, Ford takes us down a new path illuminating his vocal range on “4 Lane Gone.” The long-awaited new single, written by hit songwriters Houston Phillips, Josh Thompson, and Kyle Fishman, introduces Colt’s next studio album entitled, “Love Hope Faith,” scheduled for release early next year.
Commenting on “4 Lane Gone,” Ford said, “I constantly try to become better as an artist. It has and will always be about the songs and the fans for me. Houston Phillips, Josh Thompson and Kyle Fishman, great songwriters and friends of mine, sent this song to me. I knew the moment I heard “4 Lane Gone” it was a hit, but I didn’t know if I could deliver the song the way it needed to be.” He continued, “I pushed myself further than I ever have, and I am so proud of this song. I know I am far from the best singer, but I have found my voice and I have never been more excited!”
Ford has been on the road all summer on the “Take it Outside” Tour with Justin Moore and Brantley Gilbert. In between dates, he’s been in the studio recording his sixth album scheduled for release next year.
