Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Young to Headline Country Summer Music Festival

SANTA ROSA, Calif. – Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Young will headline Country Summer Music Festival in 2020. Country Summer, Northern California’s biggest annual country music festival and Sonoma County’s biggest party, is June 19-21 at Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road. Tier 2 three-day passes are on sale now.

Country music mega-star Eric Church recently earned two nominations for the upcoming GRAMMY Awards; Best Country Album for his critically acclaimed project, Desperate Man, and Best Country Song for his recent No. 1 hit, “Some Of It.” The awards program is Jan. 26 on CBS.

Praised as “one of the most singular working artists in any genre” by 
Esquire, Church is a three-time Country Music Association and six-time Academy of Country Music Award winner.

Since she exploded onto the country music scene with “Love Me Like You Mean It,” her chart-topping debut single, Kelsea Ballerini has catapulted to the top at a feverish pace.

Just over one year after releasing her debut LP, 2015’s The First Time, with hit single “Peter Pan,” she became the first female artist in country music history, including female duos and groups, to see her first three consecutive singles from a debut album top the country charts.

Multi-platinum entertainer Chris Young just celebrated a record year on the road playing to more than 400,000 fans in three countries in 2019.
Named “one of the era’s finest traditionalists” by the Associated Press, his accomplishments include 2 billion on-demand streams, 12 million singles sold, 11 career No. 1 singles, seven studio albums in 12 years and numerous award nominations. An international country music ambassador, he puts on a phenomenal, hit-packed show.

Country Summer, a destination country music event, will features more than 20 performers on two stages. Fourteen nationally known country music stars perform on the Chevy Silverado Stage, the main stage. Popular up-and-coming artists perform on the Redwood Credit Union Stage between main acts. Additional artists in the 2020 lineup will be announced at a later date.

In 2019, Country Summer attracted more than 30,000 fans representing five countries. Saturday, headlining Tim McGraw on June 15, was a sell-out and the biggest music event in Sonoma County history.
