Jamey Johnson – The Guitar Song – Reviews

Written by: WhiskeyChick On September - 13 - 2010

Jamey Johnson’s double-disc album The Guitar Song is out tomorrow!

Jamey Johnson’s new album, “The Guitar Song“, comes out tomorrow! I know I’m excited about the release and completely in love with this 2-disc collection of authentic country music, but let’s see what the “big critics” have to say about it!

Spin.com: The Guitar Song is structured as an uplifting journey from rot to redemption, Johnson still moves through these 25 tunes with an audible snarl.

The9513.com: It’s symptomatic of Johnson’s genius that his more upbeat fare is just as compelling as his hard luck stories and tales of shattered love, a trick few artists can pull off… there are no weak spots, not one track that cries out to be jettisoned.

The Wall Street Journal: It’s a stunning, varied and far-reaching set of 25 hardcore country songs, sonically and thematically integrated into a musical journey designed to be experienced, optimally, in sequence… The result mixes the spontaneity of live performance with crisp studio sound.

Now who am I to argue with these guys? You can buy the album in stores, or grab it from digital retailers and see for yourself!

Awesome blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid
option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed .. Any ideas? Cheers!

These oils are extracted by steam distillation or expression from the roots, stems, leaves, petals,
fruits or nuts of the plant. With the first technique, the thumbs are positioned on
the top of the feet and then massage in a back and forth motion up and down.

So what exactly is Soap Oil (also known as Soap Base Oil), and how do
you know which soap oil is perfect for your skin type.

Kellie Pickler Gives Insight Into Her Emotional Connection to New Song “Someone Somewhere Tonight.”

Most often, when I see Kellie Pickler, she is being low key, silly and a whole lot of fun. She is obviously a laid back kind of gal with a really great sense of humor. That being said, it’s interesting to see the flip side of that, and hear her being more serious and insightful. In a recent video posted on her YouTube channel, Pickler is filling in fans on her emotional connection to new song “Someone Somewhere Tonight,” and the story behind the lyrics. It hasn’t been released yet, but this will definitely make you excited to hear more. Check it out below!
