Jewel To Play June Carter Cash In Upcoming Lifetime Movie!
Singer Jewel has landed the role of June Carter Cash in the upcoming Lifetime original movie, The June Carter Cash Story. The story is based off of a memoir titled Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash written by John Carter Cash, the son of Carter and Johnny (which notably included a forward by Robert Duvall!).
The movie will track June’s life from her roots in rural Virginia to her professional success, and of course includes details on her personal life including her three marriages.
The film is slated for release this year with no definite date specified so far! Will you watch?
