John Michael Montgomery Shares a Country Music Explosion

John Michael Montgomery has joined with Time Life to present a CD box collection titled Country Music Explosion.

John Michael Montgomery is quoted saying “I was honored when the folks from TIME LIFE called me and asked me to be part of this new project. This company is an icon in American history and I’m excited to be part of their continuing musical legacy”.. The CD box set will include 160 songs from some of country music’s current superstars such as Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Craig Morgan, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill and others as well as three hits, “I Can Love You Like that”, “I Swear” and “I Love The Way You Love Me,” from Montgomery himself.

In other JMM News, John is expected to release a new single to country radio from his current album “Time Flies” over the summer, and will be attending the CMA Music Festival in Nashville this June.Country Music Photo Gallery

I saw my guys Montgomery Gentry inducted into the Grand Ole Opry a few nights ago (YES!) and got to wondering about JMM. Glad to know he has new stuff coming out – he’s one of my very favorites, and far too good to be off of the radio this long.

I was hoping to see him on stage with Troy and Eddie. It was a perfect night, nonetheless and a well deserved honor for MG. The place was packed with rabid fans and we had a blast. A loud blast!

Thanks for the news about JMM, that’s just what I was googling for.
