Kitty Wells Passes at 92

Kitty Wells, “The Queen of Country Music”, Passes Away At The Age of 92.

Country music legend Kitty Wells has passed away at the age of 92 from complications related to a stroke. Kitty is best know for her hit from 1952, “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels“, and her success laid the groundwork for later female country music like Patsy Cline.

Just last year Wells lost her husband of 70 years, Johnnie. Our hearts go out to the Wells’ and their family, may the rest in peace.
