Marlee Scott Train Wreck Video

Watch the Video for Marlee Scott’s Train Wreck.

Marlee Scott‘s single, “Train Wreck” is a pretty catchy tune, and with Scott’s soulful-with-a-little-Martinesque-quality-in-there voice, I’m sure it has the potential to be a hit. There’s even a little bit of that Colt Ford fast talking “rap” going on at the end of the song which was a hit with country fans in Jason Aldean’s “Dirt Road Anthem“. So, the song has the makings of a radio friendly tune.

The video for the track is another story though. For lack of a better word, I really think its a little mean. You’ve got three girls who apparently can’t get a date unless Marlee gives them a make-over and they’re wearing high heels and skin tight dresses. Whatever happened to individuality and being yourself? The video just seems to be a throw back to the “mean girl” mind set, and it surprises me coming from a country artist. And honestly, it turns me off Scott a little bit. Don’t take my word for it though. Watch the video below and let us know what you think.
