Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton Perform Over You On The Voice

Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert Perform “Over You” In Honor Of The Victims Of The Tornadoes That Hit Oklahoma.

On Monday, May 20, some deadly tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma leaving an enormous number of people without homes, people missing and some fatalities. While the worst of the tragedy hit Moore, Okla, many other cities and communities were hit by these devastating storms.

On Tuesday night, May 21, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert performed a special version of their award winning and touching song, “Over You,” at the beginning of The Voice. A special message ran along the bottom of the screen, urging viewers to donate to Red Cross to help the state of Oklahoma during this horrific time.

The performance was beautiful and I believe it was the best Lambert has ever sounded singing it.

Country Music News Blog is based out of Oklahoma, and is HOME to us. Their are still many things that can be done for the victims of this tornado and like the rest of the country, we encourage everyone to what they can and keep those affected in your thoughts and prayers.
