Time to plan your summer vacation country concert calendar!

June marks the end of the school year and the beginning of big summer concert tours. Touring this month are U2, The Eagles (with the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban at select venues), James Taylor with Carole King, Taylor Swift, Dave Matthews Band, Sting, Phish, Eric Clapton, Tim McGraw, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble, Jimmy Buffett, Iron Maiden, Conan O’Brien, Lynyrd Skynyrd, MGMT and Jeff Beck.

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is held June 10-13 and features musicians Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon Tour 2011, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Tenacious D and the Flaming Lips. Also in June, the Country Music Association Music Festival will be held in Nashville.

In baseball, interleague play is in full swing as the Red Sox host the Phillies, Diamondbacks and Dodgers June 11-20. The Yankees’ interleague opponents include Houston, the Phillies and the cross-town rival New York Mets.

In other sports, the NBA Finals will be held this month, UFC 115 will be the first UCF event held in Vancouver, Canada, the initial stage of the World Cup of soccer begins and the Belmont Stakes takes place. Wimbledon begins at the end of June and 2010 U.S. Open Championship of Golf will take place at Pebble Beach this month.
