Trace Adkins to play small role alongside Matthew McConaughey in The Lincoln Lawyer

Country music’s Gentle Giant, Trace Adkins, has signed on to play a small part in the upcoming film “The Lincoln Lawyer”. Also starring in the film is Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, John Leguizamo and William H. Macy. The story revolves around a lawyer who represents a well-to-do client, all the while operating from the back of his Lincoln Town Car. Expect to see this film release sometime in 2011.

In other Adkins news, Trace’s new album “Cowboy’s Back In Town”, comes out Aug. 17.
